Hello and welcome. I'm Nightingail, though most of my online friends call me Gail. I was originally an Industrial Engineer in the electronics industry, but that was no fun at all, so I went to work in Special Education for a few years. I really enjoyed working with the kids, but eventually took a break to stay home and be a full-time mom. I've decided to extend that break (indefinitely!) since I love being home, even though my 'little boy' is now married and will soon be attending graduate school ;-)
He and Steph, my wonderful new daughter-in-law, are moving to California, where he will be working on a Master of Music in Voice at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Please visit my music pages to listen to some of his performances. My husband and I live in a rural, very scenic valley in the western part of New York State, with Bear the dog, Steve the ball python, Ozzy the corn snake, and Jerry the grumpy iguana. Being an animal lover, I naturally have some dog photos onsite. There is a picture of Bear, as well as some of Scottie, our beloved German Wire Haired Pointer who passed away a few years ago. About my images I primarily use XenoDream, UltraFractal, and Chaoscope for fractals, Photoshop and PSP for image editing, plus various filters and a few additional graphics applications, such as Universe Image Creator. My non-fractal work includes photography, image manipulation, and digital painting.
