Hello and welcome. I'm Nightingail, though most of my online friends call me Gail. I was originally an Industrial Engineer in the electronics industry, but that was no fun at all, so I went to work in Special Education for a few years. I really enjoyed working with the kids, but eventually took a break to stay home and be a full-time mom. I've decided to extend that break (indefinitely!) since I love being home, even though my 'little boy' is now married and attending graduate school ;-)
He and Steph, my wonderful new daughter-in-law, live in California, where he's working on a Master of Music in Voice at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Please visit Michael's music page for his bio and to listen to some of his performances. Steph, who holds a B.A. in Theater-Design and Technology and a Minor in Art History from Slippery Rock University, is also very busy. Since moving to San Francisco, she's worked on various productions in the Bay Area, including positions as Stage Manager and Production Assistant. My husband and I live in a rural, very scenic valley in the western part of New York State, with Bear the dog and Steve the ball python. Being an animal lover, I naturally have some dog photos onsite. There are pictures of Bear, as well as some of Scottie, our beloved German Wire Haired Pointer who passed away a few years ago. More animal photos are in my archive (explained farther down on this page). If you would like to know what some of my other interests are, please have a look at my page of links and surf around. About my images I primarily use XenoDream for fractals, Photoshop and PSP for image editing, plus various filters and a few additional graphics applications, such as Universe Image Creator. My non-fractal work includes photography, image manipulation, and digital painting. If you are interested in my work for commercial purposes, send me an email and we'll talk :) Photo Archive Here in Nightingail's Gallery, I post my cemetery photography and a small assortment of my other current favorites. Older photos on a variety of topics are archived in my Webshots Community Albums. Clicking that link will open up a new browser window, and take you to the Webshots site. |
